PICA Risk Management Course Returns to NY26
Save on your annual premium
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY for instructions on how to qualify for the 15% PICA risk management discount.
With the Clinical Conference quickly approaching, NYSPMA wants to ensure that our members are aware of a new two-step process that PICA is implementing regarding their annual premium discount of up to 15%.We are excited to share that PICA is once again offering attendees a live risk management course at our 2026 Clinical Conference on Friday, January 23rd, from 8-9 am. PICA has made the difficult decision to reduce their in-person risk management courses nationwide, but has selected our Clinical Conference as one of the optimal locations to provide it. Those who attend the live one-hour lecture & scan the QR code provided will be eligible to receive a part of their discount. There is now a second step needed to collect your full discount of up to 15% which is outlined below.
- Submit a FREE online practice assessment. The assessment will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete, depending on your knowledge of your practice. While not anonymous, this information will not be linked to policy information. A link to this free assessment will be emailed to policyholders approximately 60-90 days prior to their policy renewal date and/or emailed after submitting the form that the QR code you scan at the live course takes you to. PICA recommends completing within thirty days of attending the live lecture. Please note, you will also see an option for a $99 CMEOnline course to collect your PICA discount. You do not need to select this option. The assessment is FREE.
- Purchase the PICA 2026 Risk Program from CME Online for $99. It is approximately 60 minutes and will have a test to complete following. It is individual-based and cannot be completed as a group.
In order to receive the full 15% discount, insureds need to attend the live lecture at the NY26 Clinical Conference on January 23rd at 8 am AND complete one of the steps outlined above.
