Seeking Volunteers for Department of Health Initiative

The NYS Population Health Improvement Program (PHIP) is a federally funded, Department of Health initiative designed to promote better care, improve population health and lower healthcare costs.

The Department of Health suggested that Podiatry participate in the deliberations of these meetings across the state. Stakeholders will convene in 11 regions to hold discussions on establishing best practices, promote population health and reduce health care disparities.

These meetings may ultimately influence healthcare policy and change how healthcare is delivered in New York. As such is it vital that podiatry has a voice and give comment during these statewide discussions.

NYSPMA is looking for volunteers to attend these incredibly important meetings in your region.
To volunteer, please contact Paul Liswood, pliswood@nyspma.org. Click here for some information on the PHIP.
