MIPS Question
Does MIPS apply to Medicare Advantage Plans or just to straight Medicare?
For those reporting as an individual or as a group:
For reporting the Promoting Interoperability category, we report on all patients, regardless of insurance.
For the Improvement Activities category, we report on all patients, regardless of insurance.
For the Quality
category, we report on all patients regardless of insurance if reporting Quality measures via a registry.
For the Quality category, we report on only Medicare Part B patients if reporting Quality measures via claims.
To determine eligibility, Medicare Part B data is used. To determine whether you are eligible to participate in 2025 (in other words...whether you have to worry about this or not!) input your NPI here and toggle to 2025:
