House of Delegates Updates
NYSPMA will be sending 13 full delegates to the APMA House of Delegates and Legislative Conference March 17-22 in Washington DC. New York’s delegation will be the largest among the 53 delegations represented at the HoD.
The delegation has been hard at work reviewing the 21 resolutions and 4 bylaws propositions which have been submitted for consideration. NYSPMA has submitted a resolution in support of advancing career awareness and advocacy campaigning among high school and undergraduate students.
In addition, the APMA will be installing a new president, Ira Kraus, DPM (a native New Yorker) and holding elections for a new president elect, vice president, treasurer and 2 members of the Board of Trustees
Our annual House of Delegates will be held June 1-4 at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, NY.
Division Presidents have begun receiving updated rosters of division members who are in good standing, not in good standing or have resigned. All divisions are asked to submit their delegate rosters no later than April 20. Final counts to determine representation from each Division will be April 30. Complete information on the HoD reservations and tentative schedule will be out in March.
