Looking to plan your NY21 Conference schedule? You have options!

For the NY21 Virtual Clinical Conference, we are looking to make earning your CECH credits as convenient as possible. There are two viewing options:  Recorded live-streamed programming and on-demand programming. You can mix and match both live-streamed and on-demand content over the month of the Conference to best fit your schedule. Both options are explained below with CECH requirement information for each.

All attendees will receive login information the week prior to the start of the conference.

Recorded Live Streamed Programming

Recorded general lectures will be live-streamed the first three weekends. On each of these weekends, the same lectures will repeat each Saturday and Sunday. For example, Day 1 lectures for the conference will be streamed on Saturday, January 23rd and Sunday, January 24th. You can choose to watch the lectures on either day or a combination of the two (for example: you can watch the morning lectures on Saturday and the afternoon lectures on Sunday). This is to accommodate for anyone who has religious observances. The full livestreamed session schedule can be found here.

CECH Credit Requirement – During each General Lecture Block, the Medicare Seminar and the Risk Management Seminar, attendees will be required to complete one electronic attendance verification during the last 15 minutes of the lecture block. The attendance verification will take the form of a pop-up window, which attendees must enter the code displayed. An assessment is NOT required for recorded livestream lectures.

On-Demand Programming

Majority of the live programming (all General Lectures and programming not listed with an asterisk here) will be available on-demand the Monday after the live sessions. From February 8th – February 21st, all on-demand programming will be available for anyone who was not able to attend one or more of the live-streamed programs. In order to receive credit for the on-demand lectures and sessions, attendees will have to pass an assessment for each block of content. An assessment is not required for live lectures.

CECH Credit Requirement – At the end of each General Lecture Block, attendees will have to pass a graded assessment of 10-15 questions with at least an 80%. Attendees can take the assessment as many times as they like without having to re-watch the on-demand lecture. Again, an assessment is NOT required for live-streamed lectures, only the on-demand lectures.

Tracking Your CECH Credits

Attendees will only receive credit once for each block of lectures. For example, if an attendee watches the Day 1 Morning General Lectures Block 1 on both Saturday and Sunday, they will only receive credit for watching on Saturday. Attendees will be able to track which lectures they have earned credit for through their virtual platform profile.

Receiving Your CECH Letter

To ensure that the Foundation continues to provide you with a meaningful educational program, all attendees, regardless of viewing format, will be required to complete an electronic meeting evaluation in order to receive a CECH certificate and verification form. This form will be distributed via email following the conference. CECH Letters will be released to all who complete the electronic meeting evaluation no later than March 23, 2021.
