Liswood Receives APMA Service Award

NYSPMA Vice President Paul Liswood, DPM has been selected as a recipient of the 2016 APMA Meritorious Service Award recognizing outstanding accomplishments on the local, state or regional level in scientific, professional and civic endeavors that have had a profound impact on podiatric medicine.

The award, approved by both the APMA Awards & Recognition Committee and the APMA Board of Trustees, honors Dr Liswood for his role in advocating for the NY podiatric scope of practice, extending the message about podiatry’s critical role in preventative care, and his numerous research-based presentations on the significant   health care cost reductions  by using a foot and ankle specialist.
