Nominations – State Board of Podiatry

The New York State Board of Podiatry is actively seeking podiatrists for appointment to the State Board.
Appointments to the State Board for Podiatry entails a 8-12 day annual commitment. The Board meets five (5) times a year. The first meeting of the year usually occurs in New York City and coincides with the Clinical Conference. In 2015, the Board met twice in New York City and three times in Albany.

Appointments are for a five-year term and may be reappointed for a second term. Appointees receive a $100/day honorarium and is reimbursed for basic travel expenses. Duties include discussion of appropriate licensure and effective regulation of the podiatric profession as well as involvement in disciplinary activities.
